We know not everyone likes sweet. There’s many days where at home the preferred choice is a nice dry yet rich Bordeaux. That’s what these wines are all about. Deep, complex, layered, not sweet yet still jammy as all Hell. But never something mainstream. Enjoy.

  • Honeyberry aged on French Oak

Honeyberry is a shrub native to Asia that is a member of the honeysuckle family, but unlike the bush most of us are used to in the Northeastern United States, they produce a tiny, tubular fruit reminiscent of raspberries, blueberries and blackberries. Sometimes we like to get weird, so we sought out some honeyberries instead of making a wine using those three berries everyone knows. We think it’s lovely and believe you will, too.Cheers, Friend!

    Yeast: Red Wine
    ABV: 14%

Flavor Profile: Juicy berries with a bit of tannins from the oak. Drinks much sweeter than the actual residual sugar content.

Drinking Temp Suggestion: Slight chill or room temp

  • Peach aged on Brazilian Amburana

Growing up our Pap (that’s grandfather for those who don’t know) had some fruit trees and a few of them were peach trees. We were allowed to pick and eat however many we wanted, which is what we would do all season long. We know most people love peaches, but these childhood memories have never left us and are the impetus behind this wine. We hope from the bottom of our hearts that you can enjoy this libation as much as we enjoyed those past days of our youth.

    Yeast: White Wine
    ABV: 14%

Flavor Profile: Slightly tart with hints of baking spices imparted from the Amburana wood.

    Drinking Temp Suggestion: Chilled

  • Redcurrant & Blackcurrant Wine aged on French Oak

In cooking, there are an almost unlimited amount of complimentary flavors, but rarely do you find such a perfect Yin and Yang within the same Genus as you do with Redcurrants and Blackcurrants. Equilibrium at it’s finest. The jammy, sweet notes of blackcurrants are delightfully counteracted with the tart, earthiness of the redcurrant. Nature is truly divine. Coupled with some time spent on French Oak, this garnet colored fruit wine is truly one for the ages.

    Yeast: Red Wine
    ABV: 12.5%

Flavor Profile: A dance of blackberry and raspberry jam, fresh tart cranberry and drying tannins on the finish.
Drinking Temp Suggestion: Very slight chill

  • Sunrise

There’s something beautiful about catching the morning sunrise and taking in those first full rays wondering what the day might bring. Nothing in the world can truly capture this moment. But we wanted to try, so here’s our attempt. We started with a zippy little sauv blanc base and then added cardamom, coriander, Ceylon cinnamon, nutmeg, lime peel, saffron, Tahitian vanilla bean and to tie it all together a little American Oak. We don’t recommend drinking this at Sunrise on a work day but a weekend morning or maybe vacation would do the trick.

    Yeast: White Wine
    ABV: 12%

Flavor Profile: Just like wondering what mysteries the day will bring, this wine is one to slowly contemplate and mull over. Bright with lime, intriguing due to the complex spices and smoothed out with vanilla, this wine showcases the uplifting expectation of a beautiful day* (read wine).

Drinking Temp Suggestion: Very slight chill and let it warm as you sip.

  • Sunset

The brushstrokes of Mother Nature as the day comes to a close are a time to relax, take a breath, and release the day just past. We no longer have to anticipate what may come as the day is done. Don’t fret about tomorrow as it is out of your control at this moment. Just swirl this savory Syrah that we aged on blood orange peel, allspice, grains of paradise, cinnamon, cacao nibs, Madagascar vanilla bean, and American Oak. Deep breath. Exhale. Now take a sip and have a smile. You deserve this.

    Yeast: Red Wine
    ABV: 14%

Flavor Profile: Before you even take a sip a wash of warming spices arise tantalizingly from the glass. Think mulled wine, Glühwein, whatever it is you call that delicious red wine we consume during the holidays. Rich enough to satisfy but easy enough to not overthink.
